Returning from Banaras to Kolkata, the Bengal BJP president, Sukanta Majumdar targeted the state government over several issues, including the incident at Kumartuli Ghat, where two women were caught disposing off a body, the increase in doctors' salaries and allowances, the revocation of the suspension of junior doctors in Midnapore, the extension of the private practice limit for senior citizens from 20 km to 30 km, and the death of a young woman in the Panagarh area of Chandannagar.
